Meet our pastors
Adam & Joey Ryan
Adam and Joey Ryan are the Senior Pastors at Alive Church since transitioning in 2022 from the city life to the rural life, from Pastoring in Brisbane at Citipointe Church for the previous 13 years.
Adam is a dedicated community builder known for his kindness and love for people. Adam’s humour and storytelling abilities present biblical teachings in new and refreshing ways. Adam has a passion for Men’s ministries, healthy homes and community outreach.
Joey is passionate about inspiring people with the word of God and its powerful truths about living as an overcomer. Her preaching stirs faith and perseverance and a hunger for the presence of God. Joey has a passion for Women’s ministry and has extensive experience & love for worship & creative production.
Together Adam & Joey are passionate about reaching Bundaberg and the nation of Australia for Christ. They are known for leading from relationship and example.

At Alive Church we have four pillars that we align our vision and direction with. These pillars are found in Acts 2:42 where the scripture describes the practices of the early church, outlining their focus on gathering, teaching, fellowship, prayer and outreach.
THE FELLOWSHIP OF BELIEVERS
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
